WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT

Job Brief

The Procurement Assistant supports the Logistics & Procurement team for various warehouse related functions, such as updating and maintaining inventory control databases, and ensuring that orders are received, verified for accuracy, and tracked.

Responsibilities

Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship, deliver). e.g. fresh flowers, baskets, other stock items for internal outlets
Receive and process warehouse stock products (unload, label, store)
Order stocks from suppliers
Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
Communicate and cooperate with other department colleagues
Perform inventory controls and keep track of stock/product availability

REQUIREMENTS

Able to start work soon/immediately
5 day workweek (4 weekdays, alternate Sat or Sun)
Minimum Higher NITEC
No experience required
Ability to work with minimal supervision and track multiple processes
Proficiency in inventory software, as well as Microsoft Word, Excel is bonus
Strong organizational skills
Ability to lift heavy objects
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Pays attention to detail and monitors quality of inventory
