SmartRetail is an exciting and established automated retail solution & interactive marketing platform deployed in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia. We have developed our own proprietary platform, together with artificial intelligence technology to raise the bar of traditional retail solutions to enhance customer experience, drive engagement and improve profitability.

Our business aims at disrupting the traditional retail business by creating a powerful IoT platform of smart automated retail machines, that also act as an interactive marketing platform with the use of artificial intelligence and big data.

We have been experiencing exponential growth for the past few years. We have strong support from our investors having raised multiple rounds of funding, and we have plans for our series C funding very soon.

YOUR ROLE

Tasks include but are not limited to:

• Design and implement strategic plans to reach sales targets for the team.
• Understand the competitive landscape and market trends
• Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors
• Create strong relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels
• Cultivate lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty.
• Lead and motivate staff to improve customer service with key clients.
• Work with customers to better understand their business needs and goals.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams, for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Develop and promote weekly, monthly and quarterly sales objectives.
• Draft detailed and accurate sales reports.
• Maintain sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees. As well as counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring and appraising job results
• Work collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams and fosters a culture of continuous process improvement

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of interactive online marketing solutions and best practices is an advantage.
• Proven success working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Keen business sense, with the ability to find creative business-oriented solutions to problems.
• Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines.
• Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Good Command of English & Cantonese, Mandarin is preferable
• Preferable work experience in online media sales, and in marketing agencies.
