ORACLE FUSION CLOUD TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER
This person will report to the Project Management Office (PMO) of the Financial Transformation Program (FiT). He or she will be deeply involved in rolling out the Oracle Fusion Cloud and to lead and support a team of technical leads in engaging our Business Units (BU) in the technical discussion and development of integration with local subsystems, reports, and customizations.
At times, this person will need to perform business analysis with the BUs and propose solutions on Oracle Fusion Cloud to fulfil the business requirements. The actual development can be done by vendors and/or internal technical resources.
Gather business requirements, either by working with Oracle or independently, through interactions with business users.
Perform analysis on the business requirements, either by working with Oracle or independently, and propose solution on Oracle Fusion Cloud to the users.
Manage a team of contract programmers to deliver the agreed changes to users. It can be through standard functionalities, integration, reports or customizations.
Supervise the changes to the system by internal resources in accordance to the proposed solutions. The solutions can be provided by Oracle or by internal resources.
Perform code review to ensure the code conform to good programming standards.
Technical Skills Requirements
You must possess strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle EBusiness Suite R12, with at least 12-15 years of experience in the Financials and Purchasing modules.
You must possess a good working knowledge on SQL, PL/SQL, BI Publisher, Oracle Form, Oracle Reports, Workflow, Linux/UNIX shell-scripts, OAF and Java programming. Preferably with Oracle Integrated SOA Gateway development experience.
You must have completed at least 1 Oracle Fusion Cloud project from end-to-end, involving in all phases of project implementation and development lifecycle, from gathering user requirements, functional and technical design to testing, implementation, and support
You must be able to communicate effectively with the users and their managers; as well as the vendors, system analysts, and system engineers supporting you.
You must have strong vendor management skill, as some of the implementation may be out-sourced to vendors.
You must have strong project management skill, as you will be responsible for smooth project and change management.
You must have good analysis skills to understand the business requirements, to design the solution, to develop the changes in the system to fulfil the users’ requirements.
You must have some high-level appreciation of end-to-end application development and deployment.
You must be willing to have short overseas travel, either for Requirements Study or Project Deployment.
Some general knowledge of accounting and financial processes is a plus.
