Developer Relations Engineer– AI Infrastructure Startup

We’re partnering with a fast-growing global AI infrastructure startup that is reimagining how AI agents access and retrieve knowledge from the internet. The team is building a next-generation search engine from the ground up — combining large-scale web crawling, state-of-the-art embedding models, and ultra high-performance infrastructure to power intelligent applications at massive scale.

They are looking for a highly technical and creative Founding DevRel Engineer to bridge the gap between engineering and the global developer community. This is an opportunity to work directly with a world-class technical team while helping developers discover and build with one of the most exciting AI APIs in the market today.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build and launch viral demos, applets, and side projects showcasing what’s possible with modern AI search infrastructure

• Create high-quality technical content including demos, tutorials, API walkthroughs, social content, and hackathon projects

• Help shape an exceptional developer experience across SDKs, API design, documentation, and onboarding flows

• Engage deeply with the global developer ecosystem through hackathons, community initiatives, social media, and developer events

• Work across multiple functions including engineering, product, growth, and community

• Become a trusted technical voice representing the platform to developers worldwide

What They’re Looking For

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience building modern web applications using React, Node.js, TypeScript, or similar technologies

• Experience building with APIs and strong intuition around developer experience and API usability

• Someone deeply plugged into the developer ecosystem and understands what resonates with engineers online

• Track record of shipping side projects, technical content, open-source tools, or products that gained strong developer engagement

• Ability to move quickly, prototype ideas fast, and wear multiple hats across engineering, content, community, and growth

• Strong interest in AI infrastructure, search, developer tooling, or the future of AI agents
