IT Engineer (Remote Support / 6 Months Contract / Up to $3k + Allowance)

Our Client is technologies solutions company founded in Singapore. They design, plan, manage, implement and maintain their clients IT infrastructure. With projects in multiple countries, they are looking for IT Engineers to start immediately!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor incoming tickets for processing and provide support
• Perform power verification and break-fix. eg. Change Hard disk, RAM etc.
• Installing of new racks and mounting of equipment onto racks
• Perform cable patching (copper and fiber cables and site surveys) , testing and labeling
• Perform Security CCTV monitoring and tape change
• Inventory management
• Work with vendor to resolve technical issues or supply and install equipment or cabling
• Liaison with customers to provide them with activity updates
• Perform basic network troubleshooting
• Receive / Send equipment or items on behalf of customers
• Prepare monthly reports to be sent to customers and for internal use

REQUIREMENTS:

• SINGAPOREANS ONLY
• Minimum Diploma in IT related field
• At least 1 year of Data Center experience either in remote hands, NOC environment and familiar with data center operations
• Must have experience in interacting with customers verbally and via written communication
• Good communication (both verbal and written English) skills is a must
• Must have a positive attitude and willing to learn.
• This is a fast pace environment and candidates need to have the passion for the work
• Candidates with working experience in a Data Centre environment will be an advantage
• Must be physically fit
• Candidate must be willing to work on 12-hr rotating shift.

• Position will be on a 6-month contract
• Working hours: 12-Hour Shift
• Location: International Business Park
• Salary: Up to $3,000 + Shift Allowance
