Multiplayer Developer for Interactive Media

Note: this role combines knowledge of front-end multiplayer and back-end database development.

Scope

• To design, maintain, and develop backend solutions that enable the company to connect and communicate digitally with a mass audience.

• Implement network systems in interactive media content so as to drive multiplayer collaboration.

• To consistently work with a creative team through ideation, development and finalization processes.

• To continue learning and being curious about creative technology and how play connects us together.

• Most of all, to seek to grow as an individual by innovating with the team to reimagine the future of interactive media.

What you’ll need

• Comfortable and proficient in developing with C# and Unity Game Engine.

• Keen interest in the areas of live web servers and databases (example, MYSQL, etc)

• Able to understand and implement multiplayer network systems based on server & client structures.

• Autonomy, curiosity, and resourcefulness in communicating and developing with the team.

• Is excited and able to explain programming concepts to the team, especially when you learn new concepts or methods.

• Has experience with playing networked interactive media content such as multiplayer video games or digital art installations and can articulate why they play or have played.
