Network Administrator

•     Install, configure, test, and support highly available LAN, WLAN, WAN and data center networks.

•  On-site client support and user escalations base on incidents and service requests

•  Troubleshoots and resolves critical network and system issues.

•   Test and validate all new hardware and connections for proper configuration and performance.  

•  As part of an on-call/standby rotation, respond to after-hours call-out for service restoration, troubleshooting, network testing and repair of all necessary equipment.

• Track all equipment RMAs and ensure that proper levels of spare inventory are maintained.  

Analysts will be providing support on:

- Incident Management
- Service Request Fullfillment
- Availability Management
- Problem Management
- Change Management
- Release and Deployment
- Continuous Service Improvement

•  Qualifications (Minimum Experience, Education, Training Skills): Bachelor in Engineering

•  3+ years progressively responsible experience in network engineering/architecture

•  Experience working on teams that is responsible for large scale distributed IP Network

•  Hands on experience on High end Switches (Cisco Nexus Switches, Aruba switches, Aruba Wireless, Dell Switches, Infoblox DNS and DHCP)  

• Experience of consolidated networks (voice / video / data) and associated management technologies (QoS, (Cisco), Traffic Shaping

•  Detailed knowledge of network concepts and protocols such as  BGP, OSPF, STP, HSRP, Load Balancing..

•  Knowledge and experience of the following vendor’s technologies Palo Alto Firewall, F5 Load balancer is a plus

• In depth knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting switching technologies like STP, VTP, Multicast, QOS

• Experience with monitoring tools like Netops, Spectrum, Wireshark.

• Good understanding of Incident and Change Management procedures.

• Excellent time management and communications skills, ability to work with remote teams, without day to day supervision

• Certifications are desirable, including CCNA & CCNP.

Knowledge on the technologies mentioned below (Secondary skills)
• Cisco VOIP experience is a  plus
