Pre-sales Consultant (Cloud & Automation)

Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a talented and self-motivated Pre-sales Consultant (Cloud & Automation) to join our Managed Services team in NCS. This role will primarily be responsible for providing presales support to the Managed Services team.


  • Work closely with the sales team as well as various solution team members in articulating solutions to customer.
  • Gather technical requirements, develop cost effective design and solutions, and present to customer.
  • Work with operations, vendors and familiar cost model (Bill of Materials).
  • Respond to tenders, RFQs & RFPs.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Min 5 years of experience as post-sales engineer (Cloud(Azure/AWS), Server/DB/Application project operations/implementation).
  • Min 3 years of experience as pre-sales engineer / consultant.
  • In depth knowledge and experience on enterprise hybrid environment.
  • Experience in configuration management solution using with Ansible, Chef and Puppet.
  • Experience in developing templates or scripts to automate everyday operations function.
  • Strong business acumen with strong interests in keeping up-to-date with current technologies.
  • Be able to work independently.
  • Good presentation and negotiation skills (Good verbal and written communication).
  • Good team player and proactive attitude.
  • Develop, CI/CD knowledge will be a great advantage.

Ideal Skills:

  • Technical qualifications and Managed Services solutioning experience in hybrid environment
  • AWS/Azure Cloud Certification
  • Certification in MCSE
  • Certification in Nutanix/VMware vSphere
  • ITIL Foundation V3
  • Degree Holder

Bonus Points:

  • Certification in CCNA/CCNP
  • Certification in Nutanix/VMware vSphere
  • Ansible/Chef/Puppet Tools
  • Familiar with Scripting (e.g. PowerShell, Terraform)
