Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess over 12 years of expertise in managing IT infrastructure, VMware virtualization, Microsoft technologies, storage, and backup solutions. With a strong background in scripting, troubleshooting, and aligning IT processes with ITIL standards, the successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure Management:

• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot IT infrastructure, including server hardware, VMware environments, Microsoft technologies, backups, VOIP systems, and data storage.
• Ensure high availability and optimal performance of IT systems.

Virtualization & Cloud Solutions:

• Configure and maintain VMware virtualization components.
• Administer Citrix VDI solutions for seamless virtual desktop experiences.

Scripting & Automation:

• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.

Cybersecurity & Access Management:

• Implement and manage CyberArk PAM solutions to ensure secure privileged access.

Service Delivery & ITIL Processes:

• Align IT processes with ITIL standards by facilitating Change, Incident, and Problem Management meetings.
• Continuously work on decreasing turnaround time and improving IT service delivery.

Network & Storage:

• Provide basic networking support, including network monitoring.
• Manage and troubleshoot storage solutions and backups.

Collaboration & Support:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address infrastructure needs and improve overall IT performance.
• Provide end-user support and troubleshoot Windows platform services.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Certifications:
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)

Technical Expertise:

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft technologies, VMware virtualization, and Citrix VDI.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including server hardware, backups, VOIP systems, and data storage.
• Basic knowledge of networking principles and troubleshooting.

Tools & Scripting:

• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and efficiency.

ITIL Knowledge:

• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks, including Change, Incident, and Problem Management.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 12 years of experience in IT Infrastructure management.
• Hands-on experience with CyberArk PAM solutions.
