Senior Network Engineer ( F5 )

Responsibilities

• Provide L3 Network and Security support.
• Support L2 Engineer to streamline incident calls and ensure service level agreements are met.
• Perform Support to L3 escalations of all network security across Fortinet,F5 Load Balancer,McAfee Proxies,Checkpoint.
• Assist with the documentation of standard operating procedures relating to installations and fixes.
• Act as coach and mentor to more junior Implementation Engineers and Technicians.
• Assume responsibility for the co-ordination of the activities of the Engineers, in line with performance targets.
• Included in higher complexity design work, with input to the design expected.
• Expected to take ownership of relevant technologies according to domain or specialization.

Requirements

• 8 – 10 years of experience in network operations in related industries or equivalent.
• CCIE or other expert level technical certifications equivalent or desirable.
• ITIL®v4 Foundation certification would be an advantage.
• In-depth hands-on working experience with routers, switches, firewalls, ISEs, Load balancers, Web proxies, packet captures, DNS, wireless and etc not limiting to brands such as (Cisco, Checkpoint, F5, Arista,Fortinet, Juniper, Akamai, McAfee, Infoblox, Corvil, Riverbed,
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, GTM, LTM VPN, MP-BGP, OSPF, MPLS, Cisco ACI,SDWAN, Wireless technology; DWDM (ADVA), Multicast, HSRP, Spanning tree, VRF and DDOS.
• Experience with network tools and technologies such as Splunk, NetFlow, packet captures, ServiceNow, JIRA, and SMARTs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
