Position 

At Accellion, we are focused on building solutions that enable millions of users to securely share files with the outside world. Our platform provides enterprise security and governance over content exchange, prevents data leaks, and protects against malicious cyber-attacks.

Accellion is seeking a DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for automating the development, testing, and integration of software releases.

This position is based in our Singapore office; only Singapore citizens and permanent residents will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Put in place continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) processes and tools to enable the agile team to deliver quality software based on user feedback.
• Develop scripts to automate build, software release, application deployment, and system and application management.
• Collaborate with team members to improve the company’s engineering tools, systems and procedures, and data security.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
• Apply cloud (AWS, Azure) and on-premises (VMware) computing skills to deploy upgrades and fixes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, an IT-related field, or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer or an equivalent software engineering role.
• Strong Linux skills.
• Well-versed in one of the scripting languages, such as Shell, Python, Ruby, etc.
• Well-versed in JSON, XML, and YAML.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools, such as Git, GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, Docker, etc.
• Knowledge of AWS and Azure technology and products, such as Elastic Beanstalk, Azure Marketplace, EFS, etc.
• Understand networking protocols and services, such as SFTP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, etc. Routing will be an added advantage.
• Passionate about championing the team to continuously improve in automating and delivering high-quality software products.
• Team player; meticulous with analytical and writing skills.
• Experience with agile methodologies and collaboration tools, such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, etc.
• Passion for Accellion’s space and mission.
• Knowledge in static analysis and testing tools (JUnit, Pylint) is a plus.
• Any professional DevOps certifications are a plus.
