Job Description

Extensive knowledge and proven experience of installing and supporting Linux based appliances SAP HANA, Oracle EXADATA, Teradata, RHEL6 and RHEL 7 systems.

Extensive knowledge in OS troubleshooting issues on Linux based appliances.

Good Knowledge in installing and supporting Charon Emulator on Linux physical systems to virtualize Unix systems like Open VMS and Solaris Systems Extensive knowledge in troubleshooting issues in Veritas Cluster Server on Linux systems

Extensive Knowledge in troubleshooting issues in MC ServiceGuard clusters running in SAPA HANA appliances and Linux systems.

Extensive knowledge in configuring and implementing OS system security on Linux based appliances and OS.

Good experience in working with application teams to configure the system security on Linux based appliances and RHEL systems.

Extensive OS troubleshooting knowledge if any system performance degradation or disruptions caused during the security implementation.

Good experience of working with the product vendors for OS issues in Linux based appliances

Extensive hardware knowledge on Midrang and High End HPE servers CS500, CS900 and Synergy systems

Good knowledge in Advanced Shell Scripting using BASH, AWK and Perl. Ability to apply analysis skills and problem-solving techniques to situations to provide fast and effective solutions

Ability to work on your own initiatives to provide value adds to the customer The ability to comprehend and communicate clearly and effectively on a wide range of technical issues with people at all levels

To be able to identify customers' requirements and recognize how best these may be met with available resources, timescales and skills

Experience of diagnosing and fixing technical problems across a variety of hardware platforms Extensive knowledge in ITIL process following Incident Managent, Request Management, Change and Problem Management.

Job Requirement:

GOOD to HAVE Knowledge of Midrange/Highend HPE ProLiant and Blade servers

SAP HANA, EXADATA, Teradata, RHEL6 and RHEL7 - Operating System Hardening

Kernel understanding and tuning experience

Advance Scripting (Bash, sed, awk and perl)

Technical / Professional Skills

OS Administration and Troubleshooting skill on SAP HANA, Oracle EXADATA and Teradata appliances

Installation, Configuration and Troubleshooting skill on Veritas Cluster Server running on RHEL systems
