Warehouse Assistant

Sasha’s Fine Foods is an award-winning online grocer selling high-quality, sustainable food products to consumers and restaurants across Singapore. We are looking for someone with a great attention to detail and passion for quality and accuracy within operations. You will be supporting the accurate receipt of inbound deliveries, conducting stock checks, documenting warehouse transactions and quality control within our chilled & frozen environment. You are expected to work with internal and external peers to accomplish this work. 

About the role

• The role is full time, based in Jurong, Singapore (subject to Covid-19 restrictions)
• You will report in directly to the Warehouse Supervisor
• Work is 44 hours, 5.5 days a week, 7am-4pm Mon-Fri, 8am-12n Sat
• Overtime paid
• Renumeration $1.8 - $2.1k, subject to experience

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and picking
• Supporting on actions such as stock level & shelf life checks
• Updating system records and space allocation
• Ensure all warehouse operations work processes are in accordance with the established procedures and standards
• Maintain good housekeeping and security in the warehouse
• Executing other duties as assigned

Key Requirements: 

• A positive, team player and friendly personality with a ‘can-do’ attitude
• 2+ years’ experience in a cold room environment
• Possess working knowledge of temperature sensitive goods
• Possess working knowledge in warehouse operations and shipping
• Forklift licence is a plus
• Open minded and willing to adopt to fast changes
