L2 Engineer /Technician

Description Duties • Technical o Rack & Stack o Patching & Cabling Management o Burn In Test o Input Remote config ( i.e Atm Router / IT devices etc) o Assist with Configuration & Migration of devices during relocation o Logging of test record from the respective equipment during staging & testing • Back End support o Inventory Management / Logging of the IT Inventory from the client database o Staging of Equipment o Lead the technician in job scope assigned o Upgrade of OS for the respective equipment o Understanding the client procedure • Basic Logistics support for faulty equipment ( Uptime) o Consolidation of equipment from the various ICM reported for the day / the next day  Distribute to onsite engineers  Immediate rectification if it is a hardware change  Engineer to provide the command for troubleshooting Responsibilities • Responsible for the Laptop assigned • Responsible for the Vehicle assigned • Inventory checklist for equipment & tools stored @ the assigned vehicle • Account & Report on the job progress assigned • Achieve high efficiency for assigned projects • Communicate effectively to the client and direct reporting management Qualifications: • CCNA Certified / familiar with IT equipment configuration and products • IT Software knowledge, Microsoft etc. • Skills o Splicing of cables o Connecting / laying of cables o Patching of cables • Personal character o Eager to learn o Adaptable to changes o Problem-solving o Willing to upgrade o Teamwork o Able to work independently • Experience: Working within Infocomm Tech Industry o Helpdesk o Data Centre Ops o Cabling Experience
