ICT Trainer

  
The staff will prepare training materials, implement, evaluate and review the training programs for school students in alignment with school’s strategic plan and philosophy.
  
The staff will conduct ICT lessons on the use of App Inventor to create mobile applications, website creation, photography, videography, animation, Google Apps for Education such as Google classroom and Google Docs, and MS Office for our students.
  
The staff will coordinate with Character Citizenship Education (CCE) department to infuse cyber wellness curriculum into CCE lessons and in ICT baseline curriculum for Sec 1 and 2  students.
  
The staff will co-teach with teachers from Arts department for the school’s Applied Learning Programmer The staff will prepare teaching materials/resources, exercises and projects for the students together with the teachers for the ALP curriculum
  
The staff will assist to survey, monitor and evaluate the progress of projects/assignments.
  
The staff will assist in the execution of PDLP in the school such as to conduct the training for students on use of their computing devices such as laptops, chromebooks or tablets, liaising and working closely with appointed supplier and resolving any device issues experienced by students.
  
The staff will support the school in promoting the use of the Student Learning Space (SLS) portal which includes conducting training for students.
  
The staff will work closely with teachers and providing advices/suggestions in software usage and other ICT related issues.
  
The staff will support teachers by providing videography support during lesson observations when needed and creating the videos for training and sharing purposes.
  
The staff will assist/ teach teachers on how to create digital resources when needed and evaluate the created resources with the teachers so that refinement can be done.
  
The staff will provide event coverage using photography/ videography support any school events such as GRC banquet, School Sports Meet, Open House and etc..
  
The staff will assist in managing and operating the AVA equipment on needs basis.
  
The staff will train AVA students in photography & videography to cover school events on needs basis.
  
The staff will provide support to school leaders in all the Cluster/ Zonal/ MOE activities when requested.
  
The staff will assist in managing the loan of ICT equipment such as DSLR cameras and tablets to teachers and students.


  
Minimum DIPLOMA in the relevant discipline (IT related)
  
Ability to deliver training programs to secondary students & maintain classroom discipline
  
Proficient in Animation, simple Mobile App development, Photography and Videography skills.
  
Ability to provide training for staffs and students on related ICT software.
