Visiting Professor

As a Visiting Professor, you will develop our successful post graduate MSc programme as well as other programmes in our portfolio. This will include teaching and developing modules in subject areas combining cybersecurity, cybercrime and social science. The Cyber Crime module offers a multidisciplinary approach towards the study, design and implementation of Cyber Crime prevention, detection, and recovery approaches. The course focuses on the social aspects of cybercrime. It allows students to experience the complete process of social science research. Topics to be taught should include but not be limited to Evolution of cybercrime, Crime Science, Social Engineering, Governance, Cyber Law, Risk Management as well as Social Science Research & Data Collection and Analysis. There should also be a practical element where students are exposed to current industry practise through hands-on on cyber investigations and cyber forensics.
Applicants should have extensive industry and/or academic experience, a passion for teaching and should preferably possess a PhD degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline. Visiting Professors are expected to excel at teaching and work closely with students. As we are a graduate programme, we seek versatile individuals who can teach in the evenings as most of our students have full-time jobs during the day.
