Job Description

Responsibilites 


The candidate should have good knowledge and skillset in the following platforms and applications:
i. SAP Systems installation, configuration, upgrade, patching, administration and monitoring (SAP NetWeaver 7.x, SAP Solution Manager 7.x, SAP ECC 6.0).
ii. Database (SAP HANA, ORACLE, MAX DB, Sybase Database etc).
iii. Operating Systems (Windows Server 2008/2012/2016, Windows 7/8/10 and AIX / HPUX / Linux).
iv. Microsoft Applications (Active Directory, System Center Suite).
v. Management Tools (SCCM, WSUS, SEPM, SCVMM). Virtualization Platform (VMware, Hyper-V). Advantages but not mandatory to know others : HPSM, HPOM, HPOMI, HPSA, and SCOM, SMSM, SMO.
vii. Storage and Backup (EMC / IBM, Symantec NetBackup).
viii. Technical documentation with minimum supervision and within an agreed deadline.
ix. Web Tools (F5 Load Balancer, Proxy / Reverse Proxy Setup, Apache, IIS, SAP Webdispatcher).
x. IT Security Hardening on Windows Server 2008 / 2012 / 2016, AIX/HPUX/Linux.
xii. Deploying of SAP Solution Manager 7.x.
xiii. Various methodology of SAP system cloning / copy (Heterogeneous / Homogeneous).
xiv. SAP backup and restore procedures for database-specific and OS-specific systems.


Requirements 

  
Degree in Computer Science, Information System, Science, Engineering or Equivalent.
  
Minimum two years as a SAP Basis and having done client copies, system cloning / copy (Heterogeneous / Homogeneous), transport management, user accounts management, backup / restore of SAP systems
  
Experience in installation, configuration, and maintenance of core SAP platforms of at least ERP, Portal. Experience in maintenance of Solution Manager 7.x and advantageous to have experience in supporting BW as well.
  
Minimum two years experience in IT infrastructure, systems implementation and support.
