Digital Data Engineering Practitioner (Big Data)  


This is a 12 months contract role assigned to our client


Max Salary : $10,000


Job Description
As part of the Big Data practice, some of the key responsibilities include:


• Designing, testing and implementing business systems of the highest complexity
   via big data capabilities


• Ensures cross team integration and proper hand-offs of code/tasks to meet
   schedules


• Designs reusable software components and incorporates reusable assets into
  the application design


• Proficient in distributed architecture, understanding of networking protocols	


• Overall 4+ years’ experience with proficiency in Hadoop / Spark (PySpark, Scala
   Spark) / Kafka 


• Experience in Scala is a plus 


• Experience in creating continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines
   (Git, Jenkins, Sonar, HP Fortify etc.) to create a   true DevOps culture. 


• Excellent programming skills in either Python, Scala, or Java. 


• Good understanding of algorithms, data structures and performance
  optimization techniques 


• Assist in, and take ownership of code review, design and process documentation
  and release management as needed 


• Experience in telco or network data is a plus
