Encourage a culture within the costing department of driving accuracy + clarity.
Challenge and advise on continuous system improvement.
Promote the Costing department to evolve from EMP to a group function.
Ensure that WW price and pack are updated on Meat Matrix.
Manage the working relationship with WW.
Maintain the agreed timelines regarding the funds with WW.
Ensure that the revised pricing for the relevant divisions is done timeously.
Review the detail and accuracy of the costing model and identify opportunities.
Review the detail and accuracy of the blocks and recipes with production specifications.
Manage the OOR detail and challenge the validity thereof and identify NPD opportunities.
Encourage production improvements through identification and analysis of production variances.
Identify challenges with the current production system (Meat Matrix) and facilitate more efficient ways of workings, process improvements, and better reporting
Review the GP% and value across the divisions and make recommendations when necessary.
Verify and calculate any stock revaluations.
Review the detail of the PPV for accuracy and its execution against the WW open book costing model.
Verify all stock variances with supporting documentation.
Review the funds on a weekly basis and promote the signing off on a monthly basis.
Assist with the yearly preparation of the LOH calculations.
Analyse all WW SKUs R/kg to ensure accuracy.
Review the ELP from WW to ensure accuracy.
Assist the relevant divisions with revised pricing schedules on an annual and ad-hoc basis.
Adhoc assistance with business analysis, insight, modelling improvements, business metrics, and valuations.
Ensure that WW price and pack are updated on Meat Matrix.
Meet quarterly with direct reports.
Manage training and development of direct reports.
Discipline direct reports according to company policies and procedures.
Time management and attendance (absenteeism, leave, overtime).
Leading and motivating staff.
Ensure staff delivers in accordance with their job descriptions.

Qualifications:
Postgraduate degree in Management and Cost Accounting.
1-3 years in a cost accounting position in a manufacturing environment.
5 years of Exposure to manufacturing departments/staff/activities, cost accounting, reporting, and variance analysis experience within FMCG Industry
