A well established organization based seeks the expertise of a journalist. The ideal candidate should be able to write and assemble together news stories that will interest their audience.

● Reading press releases

● Researching articles

● Establishing and maintaining contacts

● Interviewing sources

● Writing, editing, and submitting copy

● Attending events

● Proofreading

● Verifying statements and facts

● Staying up to date with privacy, contempt and defamation law

● Liaising with editors, sub–editors, designers and photographers.

● Media personality to present live on TV

● Social Media management

Tertiary education Diploma/Degree (Journalism)

1 – 3 years experience in journalism (Advantage)

MUST have drivers license and own Vehicle

Excellent oral or written skills
