Sea-freight Manager

Job Description

A very large clearing & forwarding and shipping company is currently looking to fill the role of Sea-freight Manager in the shipping sector.

Requirements:

•Minimum of Grade 12 / Matric.

•1st degree (BCom) or Diploma in Supply Chain Management / Logistics /Freight / Transportation Level 5.

•Approximately 7 years in a freight related environment – focusing on Imports & Exports.

•4 years in a supervisory/managerial role.

•Ability to work unsociable hours as and when required.

•Ability to grow and develop the division by continuous growth and devilment of the team.

•Astute knowledge of financial applications within a business (budgeting, financial statements).

•Focused, creating the opportunity for innovation and creativity to take the division to the next level.
