Job Description - Customer Support Associate

Job description:


Pick n Pay Stores in Durban, KwaZulu Natal, ZA is currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Customer Support Associate to join our team on a part-time basis. As an Associate Level role, the ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in customer service or a related field.


Responsibilities: 1. Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving customer complaints, and assisting with product information. 2. Handle incoming calls, emails, and chat messages in a timely and professional manner. 3. Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently and accurately. 4. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a positive customer experience. 5. Utilize decision-making skills to handle escalated customer issues and provide appropriate solutions. 6. Plan and prioritize tasks to meet daily performance goals and deadlines. 7. Maintain a thorough knowledge of company products and services to provide accurate information to customers. 8. Assist in training new customer support team members as needed.


Requirements: 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 4. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. 5. Proficient in using customer service software and computer systems. 6. Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred. 7. Must be motivated and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service. 8. Strong decision-making and planning skills.
