Overview / Summary:

We are looking for an Engineer to join our team. The role involves providing technical support for automation systems, troubleshooting, and ensuring optimal performance of automated equipment. The engineer will assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of automation systems, as well as collaborate with other teams to resolve any operational issues. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of control systems, automation processes, and problem-solving skills, with experience in supporting and optimizing industrial automation technologies.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• CNC and PLC Systems: Program and optimize Siemens 840D CNC and PLCs (S7 300/1500, TIA Portal) and Schneider PL7PRO for industrial equipment; Perform troubleshooting and maintenance to ensure system reliability.
• Industrial Robots and Encoding: Configure and program ABB, Universal, KUKA, Yamaha robots, and BALOGH encoding systems for automation tasks like assembly and material handling.
• Electrical Design Validation: Review and validate electrical diagrams using E-Plan and See Electrical to ensure compliance with standards.
• Machine Vision Systems: Integrate and optimize machine vision solutions (Cognex, Keyence) for quality control and process monitoring.
• Industrial Machinery: Support operations and upgrades for assembly lines, machining (lathes, grinders, transfer units), control machines, washers, and handling equipment.
• 3D Design and Circuit Knowledge: Utilize Catia for mechanical designs and demonstrate expertise in electrical and pneumatic circuits for system integration.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Higher education in engineering.
• Experience in Production Engineering: professional experience in the field of production engineering, focusing on the optimization of industrial processes.
• Machining and Assembly Processes: knowledge in machining and assembly processes, ensuring precision and efficiency in manufacturing.
• Industrial Design: Specialization in industrial design, with a focus on creating innovative solutions for products and systems.
• Integration of Capital Equipment: Experience in integrating industrial equipment, ensuring effective and efficient implementation.
• Experience in automation and robotics.
• In the case of a junior profile, the individual will be supported by a more experienced professional until they gain sufficient autonomy.
• Languages: English fluent; Spanish and/or Portuguese fluent.
