Business Analyst (Only for German Speakers)

Job Description: Duration: 4.5 Years (Berlin, Germany (80% Remote)

The project focuses on delivering extensive services and products in the area of big data. This includes consulting on data storage, integration, preparation, analysis, and use. The project aims to introduce a reporting platform based on Tableau for central reporting and to implement reports derived from big data analyses. The Business Analyst will be responsible for maintaining project communication templates, organizing maintenance windows, managing user requests, and ensuring the efficient interface between users, project management, and the development team.

Services Required:

• Template and Communication Management :
  • Update communication templates as changes occur and ensure the quality of all communication templates within the project.
  • Write newsletters for all project members and stakeholders.
  • Participate in project-specific daily stand-ups to stay informed and provide updates.
  • Maintain the project-specific intranet page, including content updates.
• User and Stakeholder Interface :
  • Serve as the interface between users, project management, and the development team, ensuring smooth communication and understanding.
  • Daily response and follow-up on user requests during working days.
• Organizational Responsibilities :
  • Organize maintenance windows for system updates and other scheduled maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain and implement authorization concepts, ensuring compliance with data sharing agreements.
  • Create data flow agreements to ensure compliant data exchange between data suppliers and processors.

Technical Requirements:

• Mandatory :
  • Experience :
    • Extensive professional experience (at least 1 year) in working with big data, data analysis, and data project management.
    • Proven experience in user communication for data platforms, including the creation of newsletters and communication templates.
    • Experience in maintaining and implementing authorization concepts, specifically in ACAT, Tableau, and PowerBI.
    • Proficiency in using tools like Jira, Confluence, and MS Office products.
    • Extensive experience in the creation of data flow agreements and data sharing processes in energy companies (EVU).
  • Languages :
    • Very good written and spoken German skills at C2 level.
    • Proof of certification or native-level language skills.
• Desirable (Target Requirements):
  • Experience :
    • Extensive project experience (at least 1 year) in maintaining and creating content for intranet pages.
    • Methodological competence in working within an agile environment, such as Scrum.
    • Sector Experience :
    • Professional experience in the energy sector or related fields.
  • Languages :
    • Good English skills for effective communication in an international environment.
