Cibersecurity

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our growing team. This is a remote position open to candidates based anywhere in Europe.

As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security systems to protect our organization's digital assets and infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks, respond to incidents, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and policies
• Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities
• Design and maintain security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection
• Monitor network traffic for suspicious activities and respond to security incidents
• Implement and manage identity and access management solutions
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices and perform code reviews
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and mitigation techniques
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
• Prepare and deliver security awareness training for employees

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 1+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles
• Strong knowledge of network security, cryptography, and security protocols
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Relevant certifications
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
