AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Amazon Web Services (AWS), is rapidly expanding out our remote sales function to drive growth across a set of AWS’ Small and Medium Businesses.
As an Account Executive at AWS, you are responsible for exercising acquisition skills, utilizing solution-specific targeted campaigns to help grow consumption of current and net-new AWS services. In this full sales-cycle quota carrying role, you will use your sales and technical experience to work proactively with our customers to accelerate their journey to the cloud.

In order to harness the innovation and scale of services AWS offers, you will leverage internal resources to engage with our customers to execute their strategic objectives in order to adapt to changing market trends.

Key job responsibilities
• Ensure customer satisfaction.
• Meet or exceed revenue and goal targets in a defined territory.
• Help develop a comprehensive account/territory plan to manage and grow numerous accounts concurrently.
• Grow & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
• Accelerate customer adoption.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline.
• Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.

About the team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent
* Experience selling cloud solutions at a software company or equivalent
* Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations or equivalent
* Knowledge of existing and developing technologies
* Fluent English and Italian

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Experience in technical sales for B2B or in solution-sales / technology-related environment
* Experience in engineering, computer science, or MIS Domain experience with Small and Medium Businesses
* AWS Certification (Cloud Technologist, Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, Developer)
