As Commercial Bid and Sales Specialist, you will play a key role in providing finance support and co-ordination to Grid Technologies Sales organization.
You will have a strong interaction with the regional head, technical sales managers and overall business support functions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
·Responsibility for creating budgetary and firm bids in close collaboration with the Authorized Bid Project Manager and the bidding team.
·Your hands-on attitude is required to successfully implement the full scope of financial and commercial activities during the sales phase based on SE’s Project Excellence Guide and all further applicable guidelines.
·Analyze tender requirements, identify, lead, and mitigate risks in the commercial areas including, currency risks, financial security instruments, terms of payment, insurance, export control & customs, and compliance.
·Considering customer’s and taxes requirements (incl. NCM and business models) when structuring a bid, guiding our regional colleagues in the onshore parts, and create transparent wall-to-wall calculations.
·Overall, the financial results according to set targets are handled expertly and you optimize gross profit, cash flow, and assets in your bids.
·Supporting the selection and evaluation of business partners.
·Lead the negotiation of commercial terms and conditions and consortium contracts in coordination with the relevant departments (Legal, insurance, guarantee, financing, VAT, customs, etc.).
·Supporting the regional head in preparing country and regional strategies for our Grid Technologies activities.
·Supporting the Regional Head in Business controlling activities.
What You Bring
·Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Legal or Accounting.
·Proven understanding of Financial Controlling and Management Accounting (IFRS and US GAAP).
·Experience in reporting systems/environments: ERP, Finance systems, and financial digitalization knowledge preferably SAP, Excel, Tableau and Alteryx experience preferred.
·Advanced skills in bid preparation (incl. calculation), contract negotiation, taxes and NCM (cross-border activities, transfer pricing), financing, accounting and reporting principles as well as claim and risk management.
·5+ years of finance experience, controlling, project management experience in commercial bid and sales management preferably in sophisticated projects.
·Great teammate and experienced to integrate different perspectives with a clear results' orientation.
·Cross-functional and cross-organizational mentality, ability to connect with people at all levels, comfortable working with a virtual organization, open to new ways of thinking and working.
·Experience dealing with corporate financial topics and supporting financial aspects of business development.
