We are building our first Software Engineering team based in Barcelona that will be tasked with building a global platform delivering on-demand healthcare to most in demand communities.
Platform resilience and up-time is super important and we are hiring a DevOps Team that can ensure we build a scalable, fault tolerant environment that enables us to release and deploy rapidly.
We have built a modern stack using, NodeJS, React, MySql, Github actions, Terraform for infra-as-code, K8s and Docker! We ar currently deployed onto AWS but are building for a multi cloud future as we deploy in multiple countries.
The DevSecOps expert owns the development delivery process and collaborates with the delivery team to continuously improve it. They will drive the team’s engineering practices in test driven development, continuous integration, and automated deployment. They are a hands-on team member who actively coaches the team to solve complex problems in order to increase speed of delivery, improve quality/security of code, and optimize processes for the development team. The DevSecOps expert delivers infrastructure-as-code deployment tooling and supporting services on multiple cloud providers along with metrics and login.

Responsibilities:- Guides DevOps teams on speed of delivery, improving quality/security of code, and optimizing processesMentors and coaches the technical team
- Be hands on and engage in coding to help the team to develop his solution and solve all surfacing problems at hand Identifies and removes technical impediments
- Constantly looking for better ways of solving technical problems and designing the solution, not afraid of challenging the status quo
- Provides the team a roadmap for implementing software engineering practices for higher code qualityIdentifies bottlenecks in coding development and deployment processes
- Leads planning delivery time, code quality, and process efficiency improvement projects
- Executes on plan by building coding standardizations and automating processes for the organization
- Leads knowledge growth effort of platform configuration management and troubleshooting
- Collaborates with the rest of delivery team to deliver consistent and holistic solution to the organization
Key Skills:- Seen as an expert within the technical components of the domains/products/journeys
- Excellent coding and scripting skills (Bash, Perl) and experience with implementing high-scale cloud architectures using modern, cloud-based container platforms (PaaS/SaaS)
- Experience of deployment automation solutions (i.e. Terraform. Puppet, Chef, Ansible)
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and cluster management tools like Kubernetes
- Experience with containers such as Docker, OpenShift and continuous integration and related tools such as Jenkins, Hudson, Maven, Ant, Git, Sonar, etc.
- Experience of integrating security in the CI, CD pipelines
- Experience in Agile Development and implementing CI, CD at scale Experience as a DevOps or SRE Lead on a cross-functional agile team
- Understands relationship with Product Owner, Scrum Master, Design Lead and rest of technical team.
- Experience managing technical priorities within the BacklogStrong communication skills with ability to align the organization on complex technical decisions
