QS STRUCTURAL & ARCHITECTURAL

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quantity take-offs and cost estimation for structural and architectural components of construction projects, including foundations, steel works, walls, roofing, and other architectural features.
• Utilize Planswift and Bluebeam to accurately perform measurement and costing based on construction drawings.
• Review and analyze structural and architectural drawings to prepare comprehensive cost breakdowns and material requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and design teams to ensure accurate project cost control and monitoring.
• Prepare and submit detailed cost reports , including variance analysis , and make recommendations for cost savings.
• Provide technical advice and support for structural and architectural matters to ensure the project stays on track and within budget.
• Ensure that all work complies with construction industry standards, building codes, and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in structural and architectural projects within the construction and engineering industry.
• Proficiency in Planswift and Bluebeam for take-offs , measurements , and cost estimation .
• Strong understanding of structural and architectural construction processes and terminology.
• Ability to interpret complex structural and architectural drawings and provide accurate cost estimates.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a remote setting.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
