The Challenge

The position entails.

The Regional sales manager Nordics is responsible for Developing existing customer relationships in the Nordic region and seek new business opportunities within the region is reporting to Commercial Manager EDM and is supported by central functions,. These growth areas include Non Food Retail / Discount- and Convenience channels across multiple countries in the Nordic region. By building strong relations with customers and partners, this role will deliver a significant contribution to our rapidly growing business.

Your main responsibilities

Responsible for Commercial activities in close cooperation with existing distributors for each market with key task to build and accelerate business.

  • Strategically and operationally manage Nordic customers/distributors (activities include: develop medium to long-term sales plans and prepare strategies to grow the relationships with the targeted customers; assessing customer needs and develop appropriate solutions; propose corrective actions when needed).
  • Create growth strategy for channel & accounts and make sure local country teams are aligned (activities include: Create strategic plans per market and managing route-to-market accordingly; control all levels in the route to market chain (distributors/wholesalers/logistic partners/retailers) in close collaboration with S&OP; closely align all elements of strategy and execution with local country teams).
  • Manage large strategic projects required to acquire new customers or growing existing customers with limited oversight from manager ( related to new product platforms or new route to market).
  • Responsibility to meet financial objectives
  • What do you bring?

  • + years of proven and successful Commercial experience in FMCG industry.
  • Proven experience from working with Swedish retailers required, Extensive Sales experience in key account management and/or distributor management across the Nordic countries.
  • Business university degree or similar qualification.
  • Expert understanding of business development and route-to-market models.
  • Expert knowledge on all financial aspects including P&L on local and international level.
  • Must be able to demonstrate strong skills in negotiating agreements / joint business plans with key accounts.
  • Able to create support in multi-disciplinary business teams to build out international partnerships.
  • Drive for results, change and improvement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to travel across Nordic countries.
