Job Description - Paralegal (% - %)

Primary responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day administration
  • Handling requests from clients, bankers, asset managers, lawyers, accounting department, compliance department
  • Administrative and client related support to Management and accountants
  • Preparation of various standard documents such as Board and Shareholders resolutions, Minutes of meetings, Powers of attorney, etc.
  • Assisting with completion of bank account opening documentation, subscription documentation in relation to investments
  • Drafting of standard agreements such as loan agreements, credit facility agreements, share purchase agreements, etc.
  • Assisting with incorporation of Swiss companies
  • Assisting with opening of bank accounts
  • Assisting with any changes required to the corporate governance and capital structure of clients, drafting of resolutions and supplemental documentation
  • Handling payments
  • Copying, filing and scanning of documents
  • Maintaining documents files, data base systems
  • Ensuring the appropriate coping, scanning and filing of all original and sensitive documents according to internal procedures
  • Direct contact with clients

Your Profile:

Knowledge of fundamental Swiss corporate law and company’s administrative practice

  • Hold a qualification in a relevant field like a Diploma in Para – Legal or Compliance Services or related degree will be considered as an asset
  • A minimum of 2 years of local working experience in a similar position in a family office or in a Swiss fiduciary company
  • Be familiar with Swiss Corporate Law
  • Fluency in German and English, other languages are beneficial
  • Available to work in the office (in Baar) for minimum 3 days/week. Maximum 1 day working from home
  • Good skills in handling corporate matters
  • Proactive, accurate, efficient and being able to work independently
  • Friendly attitude
  • Quality aware
  • Flexible and resilient
  • Ability to set priorities
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Knowledge of NavOne software would be a plus
