JOBS Global Technical Sales / Sales Channel Manager Schmid & Partner Engineering AG (SPEAG), the leading developer and manufacturer of advanced, efficient, and reliable test equipment for the evaluation of near- and far-field electromagnetic (EM) radiation, EM materials, and their applications, is currently seeking applicants for the post as Global Technical Sales / Sales Channel Manager SPEAG, together with its partner organizations Foundation for Research on Information Technologies in Society (IT’IS), ZMT Zurich MedTech AG (ZMT), and TI Solutions AG (TI Solutions), form the Zurich43 alliance. Z43’s dedicated mission is to expand the knowledge and technology for (i) characterization, optimization, and application of the electromagnetic (EM) near-field, (ii) predictive modeling of interactions between physical agents and physiology in complex anatomies, and (iii) medical applications. We are looking for smart, energetic, passionate sales engineer who aspires to a management role and excels in a high-tech environment developing innovative sales solutions to meet our customers’ needs.   Your challenges: Understanding of scientific radiofrequency (RF) test equipment and software tools in niche markets Knowledge & development of customer needs and acquisition workflows from SME to large enterprises Working side-by-side with researchers, developers and product heads (PHs) Management of sales pipeline and opportunities with PHs and sales channels within already established sales processes, identification of new sales paths Teaching PHs and sales channels on customer expectations Leading a culture of sales excellence Readiness for overseas business trips (30 ‒ 40%; customer visits, sales channels, and exhibitions) Your strengths: Expertise in international sales and business development in the wireless telecommunications sector Proven track record in sales of RF test instrumentation and systems Experience in dealing with international sales channels around the world in difficult market conditions High level of RF and microwave knowledge Taking ownership of sales issues and meeting customer expectations Ability to interact with direct key accounts at any level, from test engineer to CEO Readiness to explore new markets and industries to provide growth avenues for the company Representation of the company at industry trade shows and conferences, including technical presentations and product demonstrations Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to the highest quality standard of work Self-motivation, good organizational and communication skills, impeccable attention to detail, friendly personality, and team-spirit Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, to work independently in a fast-paced setting, and to meet tight deadlines Proficiency in English (both written and spoken), ability to communicate in German is a plus Our offer: Competitive base salary including a bonus Platform for someone to step in and drive growth and advance their own career Vibrant, multicultural, and innovative work environment that drives key technologies and fosters diversity and inclusion Creative mix of global talents that span the fields of physics, electronics, mathematics, biology and more, striving for excellence and high ethical standards A fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a world-leading company with a unique portfolio.
