**Job Description:**
Eastman Chemical is seeking a motivated and dedicated Customer Service Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a part-time Customer Service Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our customers with information, inquiries, and product-related questions while working remotely.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Customer Support:** - Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. - Provide detailed information about products, services, and company policies to assist customers in their decision-making processes. - Handle customer complaints with empathy and professionalism, ensuring resolution in a timely manner.
2. **Order Management:** - Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, confirming order details and delivery schedules. - Monitor order status and proactively communicate with customers regarding any changes, delays, or issues. - Collaborate with logistics and sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery.
3. **Data Management:** - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, inquiries, and transactions within CRM systems. - Analyze customer feedback and data to identify trends, monitor satisfaction levels, and propose improvements.
4. **Product Knowledge Development:** - Continuously update and maintain knowledge of company products, services, industry trends, and competitors to provide informed support to customers. - Participate in training and development sessions to enhance skills and improve performance.
5. **Team Collaboration:** - Work closely with team members and other departments to communicate customer needs and feedback effectively. - Contribute to a positive team environment, sharing best practices and insights for improving customer service processes.
6. **Adaptability and Creativity:** - Demonstrate creativity in problem-solving and developing innovative solutions to meet customer needs. - Adapt to evolving customer service technologies, tools, and practices to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
**Requirements:**
- **Experience:** - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a remote or virtual environment. - **Educational Background:** - A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- **Skills and Traits:** - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely. - Passionate about customer service with a resilient attitude, capable of managing challenging situations effectively. - Demonstrated creativity and adaptability in problem-solving and addressing customer needs.
- **Technical Proficiency:** - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM software. - Familiarity with online communication and collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Microsoft Teams).
