### Job Description
Becton Dickinson, a global leader in medical technology, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Call Center Assistant to join our team in Geneva. This part-time position is essential in providing quality customer service to our clients, ensuring they receive the support they need for our medical products and services. As a Call Center Assistant, you will play a key role in facilitating communications between our customers and various departments within the company.
#### Key Responsibilities
- **Customer Interaction**: Serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls and inquiries, providing exceptional customer service with a professional and empathetic demeanor. - **Issue Resolution**: Identify customer concerns, troubles, or queries and resolve them efficiently by using problem-solving skills and product knowledge. - **Data Entry**: Accurately document customer interactions and maintain up-to-date records in the customer management system for future reference. - **Product Knowledge**: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Becton Dickinson’s product offerings and services to effectively assist customers and answer inquiries. - **Follow-Up**: Engage in proactive follow-up with customers to ensure their issues have been resolved satisfactorily and to gather feedback on their experiences. - **Collaboration**: Work closely with team members and other departments to relay customer needs back to the company and contribute to improvements in service and product offerings. - **Training and Development**: Participate in ongoing training initiatives to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills. - **Reporting**: Assist in generating reports on customer interactions and feedback for management review to improve service delivery.
#### Requirements
- **Education**: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree in communications, business, or a related field is preferred. - **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a call center or customer service environment, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry. - **Technical Skills**: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and customer relationship management software. Experience with data entry and call logging systems is a plus. - **Personality Traits**: - **Independent**: Ability to work autonomously while managing time and responsibilities effectively. - **Passionate**: Demonstrated enthusiasm for providing excellent service and advocacy for customer needs. - **Soft Skills**: - **Emotional Intelligence**: Capability to understand and respond to the emotions and concerns of customers, creating a positive communication experience. - **Creativity**: Ability to think outside the box to develop unique solutions to customer inquiries and challenges.
