**Job Description:**
Northwestern Mutual is seeking a dedicated and confident Client Support Officer to join our growing team in Basel. **Responsibilities:**
- **Client Interaction:** Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries through various communication channels (phone, email, and face-to-face), ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. - **Support Services:** Provide comprehensive support to clients by understanding their needs and delivering customized solutions that align with Northwestern Mutual's offerings.
- **Documentation & Record Keeping:** Maintain accurate and organized records of client interactions, feedback, and issue resolution. Utilize our CRM software to log client engagement and interactions.
- **Collaboration:** Work closely with financial advisors and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery and effective client communication.
- **Problem-Solving:** Proactively identify client concerns and develop innovative solutions to enhance the client experience. Exercise persuasive communication skills to reassure clients and effectively resolve issues.
- **Product Knowledge:** Stay abreast of the latest changes in products and services offered by Northwestern Mutual to provide clients with the most current information.
- **Training & Development:** Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills, contributing to a culture of continual improvement.
- **Compliance:** Uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity in all client interactions, adhering to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- **Feedback Loop:** Collect and analyze client feedback to identify areas for improvement and propose recommendations to enhance service delivery.
**Requirements:**
- **Education:** Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- **Experience:** A minimum of 4 years of experience in client support, customer service, or a similar role, preferably within the financial services industry.
- **Personality Traits:** - **Dedicated:** Demonstrates a strong work ethic with a commitment to client satisfaction and team success. - **Confident:** Exhibits confidence in communication and decision-making, inspiring trust and reliability in clients.
- **Soft Skills:** - **Innovation:** Ability to think creatively and propose effective solutions to meet client needs. - **Persuasion:** Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively with clients and team members.
- **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM tools. Familiarity with financial services platforms is a plus.
- **Languages:** Fluent in English; proficiency in German or French is advantageous.
