Develop and lead performance based measurement system for business
Drive cost efficiency requirements with leadership team to enhance business performance
Provide management with timely reviews of organization's financial status and progress in its various programs and activities.
Advise management about insurance coverage for protection against property losses and potential liabilities.
Direct determination of depreciation rates to apply to capital assets.
Advise management on desirable operational adjustments due to tax code revisions.
Oversee the annual audit with our outside audit firm.
Prepare reports required by regulatory agencies.
Routine Accounting Responsibilities:
Responsible for daily operation and maintenance of the Accounting system including cost accounting, production analysis, month-end and year-end close, financial statements, and the financial analysis of all spending
Assist in the development of the Quarterly incentive plan, process changes in operations, opportunities for improvement, cost reductions, etc.
Responsible to assure that all transactions are properly recorded in accordance with generally accepted accounting principals and Company policy and procedures.
Coordinate all physical inventories with a goal to eliminate them by implementing a cycle counting process, assure proper obsolescence have/need to accurately represent the proper statement of the inventory values and quantities.
Maintaining source documents to assure that sufficient detail is maintained to support all journal entries.
Prepare and enter all journal entries needed to properly report financial performance for both internal and external requirements
Responsible to assure that all accounts are reconciled on an as needed basis or as requested.
Assist in developing all necessary financial reports including Financial forecasts and budgets, Gross Margin/Product analysis, Management sales reports and any other analysis requested by Management...
Coordination of Annual Independent External Audit
Maintain fixed assets system by updating all property and depreciation records; determine that all capital expenditures are properly classified / recorded.
Prepare reporting which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
Direct preparation of budgets, reviews budget proposals, and prepares necessary supporting documentation and justification.
Cost/Benefit analysis of capital projects
Monthly project accounting with impact on cash flow forecasting
Support implementation and maintenance of key computer systems infrastructure such as ERP and Business Intelligence.
