Our client is a leading manufacturer of automotive parts. The successful candidate will report to the General Manager and will be responsible for the following key functions. He/She will support the full spectrum of Purchasing and Production Planning function for the KBT office/plant, including but not limited to sourcing, selection, evaluation and develop all suppliers, regional Purchasing & Production Planning projects/initiatives, etc.
Preparing the mass production plan for the production on a monthly basis and ensuring the define targets are met. In case of variance discuss and bridge the gap to meet the customer demand.
Guiding implementation and/or administration of purchasing & Production Planning policies, guidelines, programs and standards.
Managing the completion of unit's purchasing & production planning budget planning and related reporting.
Deciding/co-deciding and allocating financial and personnel resources.
Sourcing qualified local suppliers and making detailed supplier development strategies.
Ensuring observation of relevant (regional or worldwide) supplier markets and the respective accredited suppliers.
Developing and maintaining a solid workstyle with suppliers, on an accountable level. Manage risk and assessment of suppliers, strategy planning with managements.
Ensuring an appropriate source process and ordering management for assigned commodities, semi-products and/or services, for the unit.
Ensuring the regular execution of supplier audits with the quality department, according to given guidelines, work together to keep supplier serial supply quality stable with quality department.
Ensuring that cost, quality, quantity and other agreed contract conditions for the goods provided will be met.
Acting as an escalation point of contact for any deliveries, which do not meet the agreed contractually stated criteria.
Ensuring cooperation with Internal Customers (requisitioners) & External customers for FAI ( First Article Inspection) process, Technical clarify, delivery items.
Managing a team of professional source and supplier development staff.
Encouraging the team to achieve the target of organization ( OPEX/CAPEX Saving, Material Saving, PPM, Contract management, Total Payable, Consignment, Localization, Delivery Reliability, Vendor Lean, etc.
Responsibilities (Production Planning)
Controlling supply chain management in order to support production, customer requirement, comply with the legal, import and export control, a quality system based on the regulation which included finding the strategy, knowledge & expertise by education and engagement subordinates to achieve their goals and growing up.
Handling the overall lead, managing and developing team members to achieve targets about OTD (Order to delivery), accuracy, Control WIP(Work in process) and inventory.
Ensuring the warehouse management which included material, factory supplies and finished goods.
Minimum 7 years’ solid experience and knowledge in Purchasing & Production Planning function of manufacturing companies.
Process knowledge across the complete logistic chain, sales order handling, material resource planning, warehouse management, process engineering, logistics execution/shipping, customs and transportation.
Experience in business process analysis and the layout/configuration of logistic processes.
Excellent knowledge of SAP systems.
Familiar with international & local laws and regulations.
Experience in the post-M&A project would be an advantage.
Language skills: fluent written and spoken English.
