Job Description: Details of the Division and Team:The Payments Processing Operator is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all types of payments including processing of physical cash/valuables, as well as the handling of cash related investigations.  This includes the processing of time-critical, complex transactions on behalf of the Bank’s internal and external clients, cash-related investigations involving enquiries from clients and internal stakeholders on cash payments before and after execution. It often involves time critical, potentially complex or in some cases regulated tasks including interaction with internal and external stakeholders.The Payments Processing Operator undertakes the complete and accurate capturing of payment transactions including physical cash/valuables transactions, ensuring that all payment-related information and relevant parties are processed according to established Service Level Agreement (SLAs) and industry guidelines. In addition, the Operator should ensure that procedures are properly executed to reduce processing risk and identify potential areas for process improvement whether internally within the Bank or for our clients.The Payments Processing Operator may also be in direct contact with clients in relation to payment processing offered by the Bank if this is agreed with respective front office functions. That’s why we are committed to providing an environment with your development and wellbeing at its centre.You can expectCorporate Group Insurance – premium borne by companyProvident Fund Scheme – employer & employee contributionsAnnual health checkup – cost borne by company (once a year; conditions apply)Flexible Work Arrangements – various ways to work, to fit employees’ needsEAP – free and confidential counseling, online work-life resourcesEmployee networks – Diversity, volunteering, various activities to participatePrimary caregiver & non primary caregiver leave – more than statutory requirementYour key responsibilities This position is responsible to handle daily operational transaction processing for payment and collection to comply with the bank policy and regulatory requirement.Responsibilities:Lead and motivate a team (8-9 people) within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for direct reports and problem resolution.Manage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors and deliver excellent customer service.Partner with cross-functional teams to improve proprietary tools and systemsSupervise team for process cross-border payment, inward remittance, high value payment (BAHTNET) and investigate cases.Participate NRBA industry call to confirm payment transactions.Ensure all payment processing is compliance to the Bank of Thailand’s requirement.Co-ordination of all inquiries from internal and external according to the product undertaking.Collaborate with processing center to ensure transaction processing completeness and timeliness.Follow up/investigation with correspondent banks for the case of transaction handling.Participate and involve in any assignment regarding to system enhancement or user acceptance testing.Available to support on team capacity back up arrangement when required.Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance team capacityYour skills and experienceOperational back office workflow and SWIFT processing knowledge and skillsUnderstanding of Bank of Thailand foreign exchange and related regulations Analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail Performance orientationExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to perform well under pressure.Ability to work independently and as a team.Education / QualificationsDegree qualified (finance, accounting or banking back ground is preferable)7+ years of experience especially in banking operations remittance areaGood command of English in both writing and speaking is preferableExperience in SWIFT/ISO20022 payment processingExperience in NRBA industry callHow we’ll support youFlexible working to assist you balance your personal prioritiesCoaching and support from experts in your teamA culture of continuous learning to aid progressionA range of flexible benefits that you can tailor to suit your needsTraining and development to help you excel in your career
