Job Description - Field Marketing Lead Thailand/Asia

About the Field Marketing Lead role...

As the Field Marketing Lead, you will oversee and actively support the execution of marketing initiatives across Thailand and Asia. You’ll craft and execute marketing plans that align with both regional objectives and global strategies. Collaborating closely with global and regional teams, you will ensure the successful execution of marketing activities, while mentoring a direct report responsible for Indonesia, who will also contribute to broader regional execution efforts. This role is critical to driving SiteMinder’s growth and strengthening its presence in the Asia market.

What you’ll do…

  • Develop and execute region-specific marketing strategies for Thailand and Asia, aligning with global objectives and adapting to local market needs.

  • Collaborate with global HQ teams across digital marketing, PR, and partner marketing to drive demand generation and ensure consistent brand messaging in the region.

  • Lead the execution of marketing initiatives including local campaigns, webinars, events, and partner promotions, tailoring each activity to resonate with local audiences.

  • Act as the primary marketing lead for the Asia region, fostering cross-functional relationships with sales, product, customer teams, and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive go-to-market efforts.

  • Mentor and manage a Marketing Executive responsible for Indonesia, supporting their growth and ensuring their efforts are aligned with regional goals.

  • Track and analyse regional marketing performance, forecast against target and work with the digital/performance marketing team on providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement and optimisation of paid media and SEO initiatives

  • Ensure all marketing materials are localised and culturally relevant for the region, while maintaining alignment with the global brand and messaging.

  • Collaborate with third-party industry associations and publications to drive external promotions and programs that support local marketing objectives.

  • Provide market feedback and insights to ensuring that local performance and market dynamics are reflected in global strategies and decision-making

What you have…

  • Extensive experience in B2B marketing, preferably in SaaS, with a proven track record in driving demand generation and meeting marketing performance targets.

  • Experience managing and developing marketing teams, with a focus on mentoring and growing talent.

  • Strong command of martech tools including Salesforce, Google Analytics, and Marketo.

  • Fluent in English and Thai, with communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders

  • Strategic thinker with hands-on experience in executing marketing campaigns, events, and webinars including the ability to write/give feedback on campaign copy 

  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels and analytics to suggest optimisation recommendations

  • Ability to work independently, collaborate across global teams, and adapt marketing strategies to local market needs with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
