Automotive local support Engineer (R&D)

[About Our Client]
Our client is an electronic component manufacturer headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. They produce core components of mobile devices, automotive displays, semiconductors, and smart products.

[Job Summary]
Main contact point for customers’ quality and development and team in xEV components field
(mHEV DCDC, HV DCDC, Battery Management System, Power Line Communication Module)

- Primary : Failure analysis for parts returned
- Secondary : Customer satisfaction related quality assurance/control

[Job Description]
- Make test plans for returned parts, communicating it with customers and HQ engineers
- Conduct tests and gathering data along with the test plans. For example, visual inspection, tracking part information for suspected parts, measuring impedances for suspected parts, trying to operate the samples, capturing scope’s waveforms, - Build test reports and explaining it to customers and HQ engineers.- Support the customer’s vehicle test.- Transfer the customer’s request during on-site support to HQ engineers.
- Coordinate with R&D team in HQ and customers for on-going program issues and progress

[Qualifications]
Bachelor’s degree and higher
(preferred electrical/electronic engineering)
Over 3 years of experience of quality or development, or sales engineering in major OEMs (GM, Ford, FCA) or Tier 1 power electronics companies
- Strong background in power electronics and/or electrical component
- Familiarity with measurement instruments such as DMM, Scope, Power source, and E-load.
- Communication skill with customers’ PJT members/managers and with HQ teams
