Job Description - DevOps Engineer (Petal Maps)

DevOps Engineer (Petal Maps)

Qualifications:

  • Good knowledge about Linux operating systems
  • Knowledge about basic networking, TCP/UDP connections, LANs, VLANs
  • Experience on Devops/Agile methodologies
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and methodologies
  • Understanding of large-scale distributed systems
  • Experience with scripting languages: Python or Bash
  • Experience of Automation/Configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform is a plus
  • Experience with Cloud platforms is a plus
  • Experience with Docker & Kubernetes is a plus
  • Experience with Jenkins is a plus

    • Requirements;

  • Manage, maintain and improve of existing continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines,
  • Design, document, automate, implement and maintain DevOps processes (build, release, deployment, version control, branching etc…)
  • Manage and/or participate live environment deployments,
  • Manage and/or participate test environment’s deployments,
  • Work with cross-functional and international teams to ensure product deployment quality throughout the software development lifecycle and deployment processes,
  • Test the usability of upgrade and deployment guide’s and help to improve,
  • Automate repeated tasks in day to day workflows and simplify complex workflows
  • Troubleshoot the problems in test&live environments during/after the deployment and help solve them quickly

    • Personal Skills Required:

  • Agile oriented; focused on delivery and customer first,
  • Passionate about new technologies and best practices,
  • Works well in a team and takes initiative,
  • Adaptive; responsive for on-demand changes,
  • Calm under incidents,
  • Dedicated; working hard to finish tasks on-time with high quality,
  • Strong communication/interpersonal and decision making skills
  • Open; collecting feedbacks and defining actions for self-improvement,
  • Open to new approaches and new ideas,
  • Strong issue analysis and problem solving skills are essential,
  • No military obligation or at least 2 years postponement.
  • No limitation to travel in Turkey or abroad.
  • Good command of English is essential.
