Responsibilities
Provide expert technical knowledge to potential customers by accompanying account managers on IT/Storage Solutions
Design appropriate solutions based on clients specific business needs
Support sales team efforts by delivering technical presentations and demonstrations
Develop proof-of-concepts as required during the sales process
Follow-up with client as needed after every sale to build a lasting relationship
Partner with the sales team to identify sales requirements by establishing a personal rapport with technical influencers and decision makers
Partner with internal and external subject matter experts to design complete end to end solutions
Maintain technical skills by attending educational workshops and reviewing vendor publications
Job Requirements/Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree or a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Information Systems/Technology sales and or engineering role
Well rounded understanding of technology including storage, backup, business continuity and virtualization
In depth knowledge of at least one of the following solutions: Storage Systems, Backup Systems, Virtualization, NAS, SAN , Distributed Storage , Hyperconverged
Must be customer service oriented and the ability to multitask
This person will have experience providing White board and PowerPoint presentations to decision makers
