ArcGIS Developer

Responsibilities

• We are seeking an experienced ArcGIS Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GIS, with a focus on developing and implementing solutions using the ArcGIS platform. The role involves working on a variety of projects that require mapping, spatial analysis, and geospatial data management. Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement GIS applications using the ArcGIS suite of tools, including ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS Online.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GIS with other systems and technologies.
• Manage and analyze geospatial data, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
• Develop custom scripts and tools to automate GIS processes.
• Provide technical support and training to users on GIS applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest GIS technologies and trends. Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience with ArcGIS software, including ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Server.
• Strong programming skills, particularly in Python, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS.
• Experience with database management systems, such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of web mapping technologies and standards, such as ArcGIS API for JavaScript, Leaflet, or OpenLayers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Desirable Skills:
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with other GIS software and technologies (e.g., QGIS, PostGIS).
• Certifications such as Esri Technical Certification.
