PeopleCert is looking for a Senior IT Systems Engineer that will be responsible for the support of all IT activities. You will contribute your domain specific knowledge, skills and best practices working closely with a team of talented professionals who have created an ISO 27001 certified operational environment operating on 24/7 basis, based on a hybrid infrastructure with heavy virtualization on Cloud and Office 365 services.

As a Senior IT Systems Engineer, your tasks will include the following:

• Administer support of various systems, such as Windows Server OS, DNS, AD, DHCP, IIS, Microsoft Hyper-V, including Microsoft Office 365 solutions (AAD, Exchange, SharePoint / OneDrive, and Teams), Network Attached Storage (NAS) and Storage Area Network (SAN).

• Provide infrastructure services management, such as Load Balancers (LB), Domain Name System (DNS), email notification gateway, Exchange Online, and enterprise storage and monitor overall infrastructure.

• Support the deployment and configuration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions (Users and Licenses).

• Support software distribution services leveraging MDM (Mobile Device Management) and Intune.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams regarding information security and communication via telephone devices.
• Assist with troubleshooting by providing technical support to identify root causes.
• Provide backup and recovery administration including endpoint security policy.
• Monitor costs for infrastructure products and services.
• Participate in the design, implementation and execution of BCDR plans

What we look for:

• Academic background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive hands-on experience as an IT systems administrator.
• Excellent command of the English language (C1 level certification desired, LanguageCert C1 LTE or C1 IESOL certificate would be a plus) and excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experienced in administering MS Cloud infrastructure (VMs, VNets, LBs, Traffic managers, Security, Storage, Firewalls).
• Experience in on premise devices, such as servers, firmware upgrades, NAS, End-point security (M365 defender), software distribution support, patching 3rd party applications.
• Superb attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic, team spirit, excellent problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Microsoft and ITIL Certifications along with PowerShell scripting skills will be considered a plus.

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)

Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.

If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:

• A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check

• Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)

• HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)

• Financial background check

• Employment reference check

• If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK

In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
