Position Overview:
Pixalate is seeking a Support Engineer based in Dubai, UAE, who will be responsible for researching, diagnosing, and troubleshooting system issues. The ideal candidate should have expert understanding of measurement tags and mobile SDKs in the context of digital marketing and advertising technologies, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to take ownership and accountability in a technical environment.
Who We Are Looking For:
This role will require someone who has:
- A BA/BS degree in technical, business, or other related fields (or equivalent experience)
- 2-3 years of support engineering and client onboarding experience in ad tech
- Expert understanding of measurement tags (pixel and javascript-based) as well as mobile SDKs in the context of digital marketing / advertising technologies
- Experience with QA/Testing
- Knowledge and experience using SQL/MySQL/BigQuery
- Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills to present solutions clearly to clients and prospects
- Deep understanding of the ad tech industry
- Technical consulting and client management experience is preferred
- Proficiency with spoken and written English and Mandarin is preferred
The Support Engineer will be responsible for:
- Designing, guiding, and implementing the technical integration plan as part of the client onboarding process, including generating measurement tags and performing quality assurance checks.
- Researching, diagnosing, and troubleshooting solutions to resolve system issues
- Creating and following standard procedures for escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal team(s)
- Being a technical product expert who works collaboratively with clients to strategically leverage and find greater value from Pixalate’s services.
- Providing training on Pixalate products virtually or onsite, and becoming the expert for addressing product-related questions.
- Providing prompt and accurate feedback to customers
- Performing other responsibilities as needed
