We are looking for a skilled Veterinary Nurse to join us at our busy hospital in Dubai where the workload is distributed among the team based on a rotation while considering the team members strengths and areas of interest.

The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years’ experience working in a veterinary environment. Prior experience in the UAE is beneficial but not essential.

You need to have a strong work ethic, be highly motivated, efficient, able to multi-task, have exceptional communication skills, confident to deal with stressful situations if they arise.

We would like you to be friendly, helpful, resourceful, perceptive, and proactive. You need to able to cope with fast-paced work environment at times and expect to work an overnight shift if needed.

You will be joining a passionate and dedicated team, in which the receptionists, the nurses and the vets completely rely on each other and all work together to deliver the very highest levels of patient care and customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

-Correct handing and restraining techniques especially for fractions animals.

-In-patient nursing care for hospitalised patients.

-Treatment administration (injections, tablets, fluids and blood transfusions).

-Ability to perform diagnostic tests (blood sampling, urine analysis and x-rays…etc).

-Preparing animals for surgery and Anaesthesia Monitoring.

-Assisting veterinary surgeons during a wide range of surgeries. (Experience in Spinal and Orthopaedic surgery assistance is a bonus).

-Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the hospital.

-Clear and successful communications with clients and colleagues alike.
