Our client is a multinational organisation which provides engineering services to the Oil and Gas industry. With their primary focus being within the UAE, they are seeking an additional headcount in the Human Resources division who can support and report directly into the Human Resources Manager. Main Tasks and Responsibilities: Recruitment
• Work closely with the HRM to support recruitment campaigns for individual roles
• Responsible for ensuring the intranet site is updated with internal vacancies
• Co-ordinate interviews with recruitment agencies and direct applicants for Hiring Managers and HR
• Ensure recruitment trackers are maintained and continually improved Introduction
• Initiate the new hire mobilization
• Create personal files for all new starters and ensure that all documentation is present and completed
• Responsible for arranging introduction sessions
• Arrange new starter photo sessions
• Send out probation reminder emails to line managers and escalate any issues to HRM when appropriate Payroll Support
• Collate and input all relevant information relating to payroll on a monthly basis (i.e. new starters, leavers, benefits, contract changes, sickness absence and maternity pay)
• Email pay slips each month
• Provide reports to the department and the business when necessary with support from HRM.
• Maintain and update UAE staff matter Leave
• Complete the HR info and provide info on pending leaves
• Inform payroll of any deductions for unpaid leaves
• Maintain and update leave summary Employee Communication
• Draft employee letters in relation to any salary, bonus or benefit adjustment and update all relevant systems
• Draft letters to employees leaving the business
• Calculate any outstanding holiday and benefits
• Draft probation letters
• Draft ad hoc employee letters with direction from HRM General Admi
Essential
• Previous HR experience within a busy environment
• A desire to work in a fast-paced HR department
• Ability to build effective relationships with line managers and employees in all levels of the business
• Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word and Visio
• Ability to demonstrate a professional, confident and ‘can do’ attitude
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to work confidentially at all times Desirable
• Knowledge of UAE employment law
• Previous experience of payroll administration
