In this position, you will provide specialized care to patients suffering from a variety of urogynecological conditions.

The Consultant/Specialist Urogynecology will conduct detailed assessments, utilize advanced diagnostic tools, and offer both surgical and non-surgical treatment options. Your expertise will be crucial in improving patient outcomes and enhancing the quality of life for women facing pelvic floor disorders.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients, including thorough history-taking and physical assessments.
• Order and analyze diagnostic tests such as imaging studies and urodynamic tests to inform treatment plans.
• Diagnose a range of urogynecological disorders, including pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence.
• Implement treatment strategies including surgical interventions and conservative management.
• Educate patients on their conditions and treatment options, providing support for informed decision-making.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient care and rehabilitation.
• Stay current with the latest research and techniques in urogynecology to ensure the highest standard of care.

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Urogynecology or a related field.
• Proven experience in urogynecological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to perform various surgical procedures related to urogynecology.
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient engagement and teamwork.
• A keen attention to detail and an aptitude for managing multiple patient cases simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative healthcare environment.
