Air Conditioning & Chiller Engineer – Overview

We are currently working with an established Climate Control contractor in the Midlands who are seeking a fully qualified HVACR Engineer with experience on Air Conditioning and Chiller systems to join the team. The company has been operating for over 50 years. Their turnover is circa £20million as a business with a head count of 71 across all departments. Their Climate Control Division focuses on the service, maintenance and repair of HVAC, Air Conditioning, Chiller and Refrigeration systems.

Within this role, you will travel to sites throughout the Midlands carrying out predominantly service, maintenance and repair works on VRF, VRV, Split Systems and Chillers. They cover commercial sites such as Hotels, Schools, Offices, Factories, Warehouses and other clients. They have a strong team of Climate Control Engineers on the team already but they are keen to find someone with a high level of knowledge on Chillers as they have them across several of their food process sites. Occasionally, there will be some installation works to do on AC Systems however this is usually when an old system needs replacing.

The company are very strong on work/life balance. They do not operate any call out rota and you work a 37.5 hour working week Monday – Friday with an early finish on Fridays. All sites are within the Midlands area to minimise travelling.

A full UK Licence is required.

Air Conditioning & Chiller Engineer – Requirements

* Proven experience in air conditioning, chillers and refrigeration systems

* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability across a range of HVAC equipment

* F Gas 2079 Cat 1

* Full Clean UK Driving Licence (company van provided)
