Summary

Ecosse Pharmaceuticals Ltd, a renowned leader in the manufacturing and supply of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and food and beverage additives, is seeking a dedicated Canning and Bottling Line Operator to join our manufacturing team in Glasgow, Scotland. As a Canning and Bottling Line Operator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, quality-compliant, and cost-effective production of food and beverage products.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain equipment for canning and bottling food and beverage products.
  • Follow procedures and guidelines (PRS, PTW, cGMP) to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Monitor raw materials and intermediates inventory, conducting inventory checks as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records, both written and electronic.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of production equipment in accordance with safety, operational, and quality procedures.
  • Operate processes efficiently, actively participating in continuous improvement efforts.
  • Monitor performance and critical parameters, promptly alerting to any issues.
  • Collaborate with the team in drafting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for operations.
  • Strictly adhere to all safety, health, and environmental requirements.

Requirements for the Role

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths.
  • An NVQ in Process Plant Operations or related field would be highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated capability to learn and improve new skills with a positive response to training.
  • A positive approach to maintaining high standards.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety protocols.
  • A team player mindset and a commitment to working collaboratively.
